Ann is Michael's long-term girlfriend. She is a career woman and likes to balance her career and Michael at the same time and has no desires on giving either of them up. She is a PA for professional footballers, after just moving the business to Harchester she has to work hard to get it off the ground. Because of this she often finds that she is putting the business before Michael, who doesn't even like the thought of her working in the first place, this marks a major problem in their relationship.
She arrives in Harchester as Michael Dillons girlfriend. She is a self employed agent and she see's his move to Harchester as a great career opportunity. She signs several low profile clients until Scott Lucas asks her to help him improve his image. The pair have an instant understanding and they start to develop feelings for each other. Her work load starts to become too much so she hires Kelly James, based on her knowledge of football. After some good form, Michael asks her to marry him on live TV, Ann agrees and the pair buy a house together. Scott isn't happy about this and he confronts Ann on her wedding day. She admits that she no longer loves Michael and she leaves him for Scott. Its not long before Michael is transferred to Charlton Athlethic. Scott asks Ann to move in with him but he begins to feel suffocated when she moves her office in too. This causes a lot of arguments and when Ann starts to invite clients around for dinner, they have a major argument. Scott storms out and he ends up cheating on Ann. When Ann finds out about this, she ends the relationship. At work, she has to sack Kelly after details of her affair comes out, Ann decides that the scandal would be bad for the companies image. Scott realises that hes made a mistake and he wants to make it up to her, she suggests that he see a therapist and on her suggestion, he spends the rest of the season in therapy.
Victoria Baptiste is looking for an investment and she decides to buy into it Ann's business. Soon after they have formed this business partnership, Ann finds out that shes pregnant. She informs Scott that hes the father and he desperarely wants them to be a proper family. Ann still isn't convinced that hes changed so she isn't too fond of the idea. As time goes on, Ann is no longer able to run the agency and she sells her half to Victoria. She decides that she needs to leave Harchester and after Scott picks up an injury, she offers him an ultimatum. She agrees to make a go of things as a family as long as its away from Harchester. Scott was already considering a transfer so when Chelsea came in for him, he agreed terms and they were off to London.
