Kim has been married to her husband Danny for 6 years now, and were together as a couple a long time before that. You could almost call them "childhood sweethearts". That is until recently, the past couple of years their lives have been turned upside down. First came the arrival of the twins "Jack and Errica". Soon after they were born they were kidnapped by Jodie Stone, an event which shook the couple up and tainted their joys of newly found parenthood. Only six months later Kim found out through the media that Danny was having an affair with the Lynda Block's PA, Amy Kerrigan. It turned out to be more than a passing fling and Danny left Kim to set up home with Amy.

A year on Kim is still living at their old home at the Barrons struggling to bring up the twins with very little help or support from Danny. However Kim knows that deep down Danny still has strong feelings for her and she lives in hope that one day their pair will reunite….
